There are some states/union territories that allow submission for both FIR and complaints, and in this article, we will talk about the process of how to file an online police report.

    1) Himachal Pradesh

    HP Police Citizen Portal

    1. Visit the following link to register a complaint online. http://citizenportal.hppolice.gov.in:8080/citizen/login.htm
    2. It is a form where you have to fill in various fields. At first, you need to select your area.
    3. In the second field, you will get the list of Police Stations. Please select the one which is nearest to your region.
    4. Now select the type of complaint you want to make in your FIR.
    5. After this, you need to describe your problem in detail. You should restrict your complaint to 2000 words.
    6.  In the next part, you need to fill your personal details like name, address, mobile number, etc.
    7. Once you are done with all the fields, press the Submit button.

    2) Delhi

    2. Under this link select the ‘Theft e-FIR’ option wherein you will be asked to choose between lost report and stolen report.
    3. Select the type of report and proceed with your details to file a complaint.

    3. After filling the form cross check all the information.
    4. Now submit the form.

    2. Enter the details accordingly to proceed in the complaint.

    6) Andhra Pradesh

    AP Police Website Voxya

    1. Go to the official website of Andhra police.
    2. Register yourself there.
    3. After Registration, log in using username and password.
    4. Now you will see all options to File FIR and view your FIR status.

    7) Assam

    Mumbai Police

    1. Go to the official website of Assam police.
    2. Click on “Create citizen login” to register yourself.
    3. Now after registration click on login, enter your username and password.
    4. Find the FIR section to file FIR online.

    8) Goa

    1. Go to the official website.
    2. Enter your personal details to file an online FIR.
    3. After filling the form submit it.

    9) Haryana

    Welcome to Haryana Police

    1. Go to the official website of Haryana Police.
    2. Create a Citizen login by entering your personal details.
    3. Login using username and password.
    4. Now you can register an online FIR.

    10) Madhya Pradesh

    Madhya Pradesh Police India

    1. Visit the official website of MP police.
    2. Go to the middle of the page. Click on Lost article report as shown in the above image.
    3. One new page will open. Here click on “Create a login” for registration.
    4. Now you have to register yourself by filling the given form.
    5. After registration, go to login section, enter your username and password.
    6. Now you can file online FIR here.

    11) Rajasthan

    Rajasthan Police

    1. Visit the official website of Rajasthan police.
    2. Fill the required details.
    3. Submit the form.
    4. You will get an email confirmation from Rajasthan police.

    Note: You can’t file online FIR for any serious crime. For any serious crime, you have to visit the nearest police station to file FIR. Online FIR mainly providing by the police department for the Lost Report.

    Timeline :

    Mr. Hiteshbhai Jodhani visited our portal on 11th November 2018 at 8:35 a.m. and filed a complaint against PhonePe for wrongfully showing that the amount was credited. When we received the PhonePe complaint, immediate actions were called regarding this issue. We sent an email to the company and started a social media campaign. After a few days on 13th November 2018 at 07:54 a.m. Mr. Jodhani again visited our portal and marked the complaint as resolved.

    A brief look into the complaint :

    Our client Mr. Hiteshbhai Jodhani had complained that his friend had sent Rs. 5000 through PhonePe but it did not reflect in his account. Moreover, PhonePe was showing that the transaction was successful but on checking his account, our client could clearly see that the money was not credited in his bank account. Our client immediately raised an issue on PhonePe about this failed transaction and made numerous calls to them but to no avail. After getting frustrated with their services, Mr. Jodhani decided to file a complaint against PhonePe at our portal and requested us to help him in resolving the issue.

    After getting frustrated of getting no calls answered and not finding any fruitful solution, Mr. Hiteshbhai Jodhani decided to file a complaint against PhonePe at our portal. We looked into the matter and started a social media campaign as soon as we received the complaint. The campaign was spread all over social media like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc. We also sent an email to PhonePe requesting them to resolve the matter as soon as possible. Soon our client received a call from PhonePe and the complaint was marked as resolved on 13th November 2018 at 07:54 a.m.

    • उपभोकता को भुगतान (payment), चेक (cheque), किसी भी प्रकार का ड्राफ्ट (Draft), या बिल (bill) के कलेक्शन देने में देरी या न होने की स्थिति में |
    • RBI द्वारा निर्धारित शुल्क से अधिक राशि लेने के सम्बन्ध में |
    • बैंक (Bank) की लापरवाही (Negligence) की वजह से या फिर किसी अन्य कारण से चेक के भुगतान (cheque payment) होने में देरी |

Soon our client received a call from Shinehunts and the complaint was marked as resolved on 9th January 2019 at 16:02 p.m.

    A brief look into the Job complaint :

    Our client Mrs. Abhilasha Bajpai got a call from Shinehunts stating that she is being offered with job opportunities. Moreover, after detailed discussion our client was told to pay Rs. 2700 for Registration charges, which she duly did. After sometime our client was again told to pay Rs. 10000, this time assuring that she will be offered a job immediately. Our client, given the insurance, decided to pay this amount in order to secure the job. In neither of the cases were the receipts’ provided to her. A week had passed by but still no update had been provided to Mrs. Bajpai. All the while their Relationship Manager, Mr. Rajiv Chauhan, kept ignoring her calls.
