- Uber has charged me twice for same ride and now not giving a refund Closed
While booking a cab, I had registered to pay via UPI added on Uber. Later while booking on the same date I found that my UPI request had expired. Hence, I made payment through my linked Credit Card. But when tried booking the cab again on the second instance it gave generated again a new request for payment through UPI and my payment from Credit Card was completely ignored. As I was in a hurry hence I made a payment on UPI too and booked a cab. But when I raised a complaint at Uber support they just kept requesting for multiple documents. After reading on Quora, I heard about VOXYA. I thought of taking your help. Could you kindly help? But if this does not work I am planning of a legal case as Uber does not have any toll free number for resolving consumer issues and Uber support is worst. For the time being, I have attached statements for my Credit card which was not considered for the transaction on **st May ****, where Rs ***.** was deducted from * different accounts UPI as well as Credit Card.
