UBER - Complaint against the Physical violence of the DriverUber

Dear Team,

With utter pain, I want to bring to your notice the physical assault done at me by an Uber driver named Mr Ranbir Singh , vehicle details :HR **AF****.

The incident reported is of the morning when I had made a booking with UBER from Sector ** Gurugram to Cyber city at around *:** AM. Due to delay from driver’s end I took another cab and started off . Suddenly this UBER driver came to my place and since I already sat in another cab and did not sit in his car, he chased my cab and in between suddenly stopped my car in just outside my society Ace Palm floor. He intersected my car and forcefully stopped us. Later he got down from the car and started hitting my window. Then he dragged me out of the car and started HITTING ME. MEANWHILE HE ALSO SNATCHED MY WALLET AND TOOK MONEY OUT OF IT. My Cab driver from Rapido was a witness to it and if need be he is ready to record his statement.

WHILE I WILL BE TAKING LEGAL ACTION AGAINST HIM, I want to escalate this to UBER as UBER HAS TO TAKE THE ONUS OF MY SAFETY. I WILL ALSO FILE A CASE AGAINST UBER for having such drivers in your service. YOU ARE REQUESTED TO SHOW SOME MORALITY AND TAKE ACTION AGAINST THE SAID DRIVER.

THIS IS AN OFFICIAL MAIL DOCUMENTED FROM MY END WHICH I WILL USE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

TAKE AN IMMEDIATE ACTION AGAINST THE DRIVER AND RETURN MY MONEY WHICH WAS LOOTED BY HIM.
