Below are the issue details.

While booking room in MPT Betwa Retreat, Orcha. My first transaction was successfully completed but booking was not confirmed and it was displayed "booking failed" on Cleartrip page.

Therefore, I made another booking of same amount and that transaction and booking was confirmed.

On reaching to the hotel I came to know that the *st booking was also confirmed. As this was clearly a technical error by the cleartrip, I immediately intimated this to the hotel manager and cleartrip support team before checkin to hotel and requested refund for the duplicate booking.

Initially I was assured from cleartrip team for the refund but when I asked them to send an complaint acknowledgement mail, they were quite hesitant to that. Over a phone they said I will get issue resolved within ** hours.

After, multiple follow-up, I got one acknowledgement mail from support team and now It's been ** hours and no update is received regarding the refund and when I am contacting support team, they are saying I will not get refund as hotel denied the refund.

I want to bring your kind attention here. I raised this issue even before the hotel check-in time. As this was cleartrip technical glitch which made me to do another booking. I feel cheated as I am getting no response from them. Please help me to get my refund back. I have phone call recording with clear trip support team and I will share them if required. It took more the *-* calls but still they are not resolving this. Kindly look into this matter.
