Lalit filed complaint against UBER on Mar 19, 2021
On **th Dec, **** I booked the UBER cab and the fare was *** which I had paid via Google pay. Next trip I tried to book the cab again than app was showing an amount of *** was pending. I raised the ticket to remove it but no any response I got. Now on **th March, ****, I booked the Uber cab which was showing the amount of *** when I was booking the cab (I thought they have removed the unknown charges because they were wrongly charged) but when I completed the ride the total fare was showing ***.**. I asked to driver why it is showing this much amount ? He said "sir you have to pay total ***.**". I said this is wrong your charge is *** and I will pay only *** nothing else. Driver requested me to pay ***.** and said "if you will not pay then UBER will deduct this amount from my account". I had raised this to help option on uber app but after a long time when I did not get the response recieved, I had to be make the payment while I was not liable to pay just because of the driver and the situation in which I was sitting in the cab. It was an emergency situation for me because I was sitting with my wife who is a cancer patient. Now I have got the response from uber and they are saying that we can't work on ** days before incident.
It's a harrasment case. A fraud case. I need my money back but they are denying to return.
