Chanda Shanbhag filed complaint against UBER on Jun 6, 2024
I am very much sure now that uber does not care about their customers and also the safety of women. The incidents mentioned below are the proof. I am finally writing it here because within a month I have had * issues and both are pathetic. And also upon several requests no one is willing to call. They closed my request saying they will give feedback to the drivers. That is not gonna help me. This is the worst uber has ever been. I am gonna report this further.
Incident one:

Status: not resolved but the case is been closed.
I took a rickshaw and started my journey. At around **** the driver asked me to leave the rickshaw and said rickshaw is faulty. He showed as if rickshaw will not start. I paid him ** rupees. He then accepted another ride, started the rickshaw and went off. It was very hard for me to get another ride from where he dropped me. I had to wait nearly **-** minutes before I could get a ride to my destination. I immediately raised the concern but as usual nothing happened. Someone named Richa closed my ticket when obviously she did not help me with any resolution. Also did not talk to me. Talking us a concern for you guys I guess. People hired are dumb maybe and not able to talk or even read. I tried to call uber but again it did not get connected as you guys slept off.
I did not have much time to look into this and was out of town. So I left it there. Thought will come back home and check and expected nothing happened.
Incident two:

Status: Open but now I don't trust uber.
My pickup was Bliss cafe and my drop was The Square Vimannagar. I added it as in the uber app. Out of nowhere the driver said my drop location is *km before my actual drop off. I tried to change the location but it did not work. He kept blaming me for incorrect location when I clearly proved it to him the address that I actually added. I asked him to drop me off at the actual location and he did. Fare changed from *** to *** and he asked me to pay ***. I don't know why. This was not at all my fault. He kept saying Ola is much better and this is all our fault. I do not want to take away his job but also I do not want to be penalized for something that isn't my fault either.
I am ok to go to the consumer cell and if needed even file a complaint to the locals for the harrassment I have gone through. Also for my safety, as the driver asked me to leave the rickshaw before my destination in incident one. You clearly don't care for the safety. You charge us for cancelling rides when your drivers can do it without paying us anything sometimes. There have been so many cases when your driver has denied the ride and cancelled after knowing the drop location and you have never helped. I demand a compensation of anywhere from **,***/- to **,***/- for the kind of harrassment you have put me through. I would expect a reply asap.

I don't care if your drivers are professional and if you are trying to give me a hassle free experience because you clearly did not. You know what this is harrassment. No one is actually talking about what is asked in the email. I never wanted to give any feedback. Obviously the harrassment that I have gone through, I don't deserve that. You ask me to leave the rickshaw when clearly there was no problem with the rickshaw because the driver got another ride and in second instance he asked me to pay more than my fare. This is lying and cheating plus denial of service. I need to be compensated for this.
Can you or can you not agree to my compensation is what I am asking for. Do not give me any automated replies. Yes or No because I have no time to waste. If not, I will take this forward no problem with that.
Let me know clearly on compensation bit. Rest feedback and all is not what I am looking for because I know nothing works for Uber. You are worst anyway. I can tell by the customer service experience as well. I am asking one thing and you are telling me another.
