- Refund not received Open
I have ordered a colour queen * in * matte lipgloss from snapdeal worth Rs. *** on *th December ****. Because of the quality issue, I didn't like the product and returned it. The delivery boy has come to my office and has taken back the product. On ** December ****, I got a message from Snapdeal saying that "your refund has been initiated and it will be credited to my bank account within **days. I waited for **days but didn't get the message for money refund in my bank account. I called Snapdeal and the way they responded was shocking for me. They said they had done the refund. Kindly contact the customer care of your issuing bank. Snapdeal is not going to loot your money. But actually, they did. I called to sbi customer care and they said they have not received any refund from the merchant and if Snapdeal is done refund transaction then automatically the amount credited in your account. Again I called to Snapdeal and asked again they told me to give the reference number to my bank so that they can check. They send me one message as well in that they have mentioned about the reference number and the refund which had never ever happened.
I again called to sbi customer care and told that reference no. which I got from snapdeal but sbi guys were unable to see any details using that number. After that sbi guys told me to forward the message which I had received from snapdeal. I forwarded that message to sbi and received a mail from them stating that sbi has not received any refund from the merchant Snapdeal. They said to me to contact the snapdeal. I again called them and this time they told me to send a written complaint from my bank on behalf of my self that actually the amount is not credited in my account. When I told the same to the bank they refuse me. The banker told me how can they create a complaint without any information. And advise me to again contact with the snapdeal.
When I failed I raised a complaint on National consumer helpline. And the grievance I'd is- *******. But now I am looking that the case has already disposed of. I have not got any help from that site. Sir, Kindly have a look and try to resolve my issue. I will be very thankful to you. Below are a few more details:
