I am appalled by Amazon India’s response to my refund request regarding Order #***-*******-*******. At first, I assumed this was an erroneous decision, but it has become increasingly clear that this is part of a deliberate and unacceptable act to deny a rightful refund without any valid or actionable claims.
The Facts:
This was a return order that was successfully picked up after a thorough image verification process and cross-referencing of:
*. The product details and images in the order.
*. The model number engraved on the inner dial of the watches.
*. The warranty booklets, tags, and packaging materials.
Amazon India's return pick-up partner spent ** minutes carefully verifying these items before confirming that they matched the order (image verification and model number engraved on the inner dial) and proceeding with the pick-up.
The Allegation:
Now, Amazon India conveniently claims that the returned products were different or incorrect. This claim is baseless and unreasonable for the following reasons:
If the products returned were not the same as the ones delivered, the image verification process would have failed. The pick-up partner would not have accepted the return.
The products have been in Amazon India's custody since December *, ****, and I have had no control over them since then.
How does Amazon India expect customers to believe such allegations when your own processes verified and accepted the returned items?
Serious Concerns:
This decision reflects a troubling trend that undermines customer trust. Amazon India appears to be using convenient excuses to cheat customers out of their refunds, despite following all return protocols to the letter. This is unethical and deeply disappointing.
Does Amazon India truly believe it can mislead its customers and get away with such baseless claims? This is not just unfair—it is an outright betrayal of the trust that customers place in your platform.
I will not accept these unjustified and baseless accusations. I demand that Amazon India immediately:
Reconsider its decision and process the refund of ₹**,***.** without further delay.
Amazon India’s behavior in this matter is unacceptable and unbecoming of a company that claims to prioritize customer satisfaction.
I trust Amazon will take appropriate action to address this issue promptly.
