Amazon - Return is not processing instead of return pickup amazon is just rescheduling it again and again

i ordered a lenovo thinkpad laptop in amazon recent sale and it got delivered on *st October but the laptop which i received was a used product with complete different model and configuration. On this i raised a complained and amazon customer support service told me that we have a separate investigation team which will look into this matter and please contact us back in *-* days. i contacted back amazon on * oct and they agreed it was a mistake and initiated a return request for laptop and pickup was scheduled for * Oct. instead of picking up the product the rescheduled the for * Oct and gave a response that customer denied the return. after multiple follow up no one came to pickup the product on *th Oct and it was rescheduled for **th Oct. On the **th Oct i contacted amazon customer services three times and every time ensured me that they from special/escalation team and the pick up will be done today, now for waiting whole day my return got cancelled and now start a fresh return request scheduled for tomorrow (** Oct). Instead of getting any satisfactory solution my request is just getting delayed and rescheduled again and again
