Brijesh Gupta filed complaint against Myntra on Jul 28, 2021
A friend of mine gifted me a Crossbeat Ace smart watch from his account through Order No. *******-*******-******* (he actually purchased seven watches for seven different people to be delivered at seven different addresses, all orders on same day.) The shipment was delivered to my address on **th July at around *:** PM. When I opened the packet, to my surprise, there was an empty box of the watch. Also, to note, the box was packed inside two packets. One made of paper, which was the outer packet and wasn’t damaged. The other one was a polybag inside the paper bag and was torn at two sides and the box was inside the polybag. I immediately called the delivery boy to come and check for himself and he initially nodded to come to my home in * minutes, but didn't turn up almost for ** minutes. Then, I again tried to reach out and after not answering my calls for couple of times, he picked the call and gave me his personal number to call. When I did call him, he just started talking rudely and blamed me of raising false complaint.
After this shocking encounter, I raised a complaint with the Myntra Customer support and they performed their so called "Investigation" and just responded that there wasn't anything wrong with their delivery and thus, they can't help me. When I tried to get the details of the investigation, as how they exactly reached at their conclusion, they didn't share any specifics.
Now this resolution by Myntra implies that I raised a fraudulent complaint to dupe the company. This is a serious question on my integrity. They didn't even consider once that I've been their customer for almost a decade and made purchased worth lakhs without any issues till date. Now, I'm really not concerned about getting the product or money back because that is a really very small amount for me, I'm seriously concerned about the allegation on my integrity and want everyone to know, how insensitive these people are about their customers. Now, I'm not only intended to never ever purchase anything from Myntra as well as Flipkart (just to let others know, I'm a Flipkart Plus member), since both these companies are owned by same people, I'll ensure that my brothers and my wife also don't make any purchases from these platforms. I'll also share this pathetic experience with every friend of mine to save them from such mental harassment.
In a nutshell, they just ruined the otherwise wonderful experience and lost at least four customers forever.
