- Damage Product and no exchange Open
I purchased Dining table with four chairs from pepperfry. The product was delivered on **/**/**, and was assembled by pepperfry carpainter on **/**/**. Very next day , leg of one chair fractured , while I was sitting on it. Fortunately I survived without any injury. Immediately I reported the matter to pepperfry and demanded return/ repair/ replacement. Pepperfry replied next day via email , that as product is damaged while use, nothing can be done at their end and suggested I should hire carpainter and get the cahir repaired. I requested them replacement of chairs and I was ready to pay extra amount if any. But they refused and closed the complaint. After this contacted their customer care * times to address my grievance , but all time they refused to listen me and gave same answer , nothing can be done at their end.
I don't consider these chair safe for use, as one chair got broken in one day and use of these chairs may lead to injury to me and my family. I have two complaints with seller
*. The product( * chairs) supplied to me is of very bad quality and is not safe for use. I demand either premium quality product or refund of product.
*. The seller provided no after sale service, to address my grievance. They could have send their carpainter for investigation of damage , but instead of that they refused to address my greivance.
*. As per the terms and conditions of seller , damaged product will be returned if reported with in * days of delivery. In my case the product was damaged after * days of delivery. But seller refused to intiate return.
*. As per warranty terms of seller , mentioned in FAQ section of their app,they give one year warranty on all products sold by them. My product got damaged after one day of assembly , but they didn't Provide return or replacement or repair.
