I booked an Uber Rickshaw from Vashi to Chembur as Mumbai locals are not available for non-essential service people. As I was in a hurry, I booked the ride and on reaching the destination, I paid him using Google Pay (QR Scan) a sum of ***.**. For which he didn't receive any SMS, and my phone froze. I sent it again, and this time he received an SMS. So I went away.
Later on checking bank statement, I got to know that the amount has been deducted twice. I tried messaging the driver on Google Pay, but he didn't respond.
Uber plainly rejected to help. This is extremely unacceptable as a customer, and now I have major trust issues with the app.
My two years of blood & sweat got valued finally with Voxya. I got a full refund with no hustle after they received notice.
