Nykaa Fashion - Received a product with stains

I placed an order with Nykaa Fashion for a glass vase with a copper base. When I received the vase, I noticed that all along the copper base, there were dirty and grimy fingerprints on it. The fingerprints are not going from wiping and have permanently stained the vase. I immediately placed a complaint with Nykaa stating that the vase I received was damaged along with photos showing the dirty fingerprints. Nykaa's response was that damage is only if the item is broken or dented. As the permanent stains are neither, the vase is "correct". I tried arguing that when I order an item, I expect it to be delivered in nothing other than a pristine new condition. But unfortunately it is like talking to a brick wall and I am left with a damaged item.
