Shashidhar filed complaint against UBER on Dec 19, 2021
I completed the uber ride and paid the charges in cash as digital payment was inconvenient for me that time. I was charged ***rs. The ride was completed without any trouble but to my shock, I realised that I am required to pay ***.** rs again as I was reported that I did not make the complete payment. I am not much aware of using uber platform so I depend on someone else to use it. I had to book another ride after a month then I realised about this injustice. Even after making full payment in cash, now the uber customer service insists me to make the pending charges again. Uber customer service is not even helpful. All they do is send canned responses and try to close the conversation. It is very disappointing and troublesome that i m forced to maje extra payment without any mistake as every penny counts in some people's lives. It is unfair that im charged extra for someone else's greediness for some extra cash. Uber doesn't seem to bother or try to resolve my issue even after trying to contact multiple times. Every time they just say they cannot adjust the payment. But I don't understand that why should I pay ***rs when I already have made the payment in cash to the driver. Specially which auto driver would just let me walk away if I don't pay the amount? No one would do that so isn't it obvious that I made the payment completely? Help regarding this issue to get me justice will be deeply appreciated and be grateful.
