Vigneshwaran filed complaint against zomato food app on May 6, 2020
This is again same post on my old order and still i am not getting a proper response from Zomato either by their app chat nor FB messenger.
On April *. I have ordered two vim gel liquids which costs ***₹ each. In which one of them is not delivered and when asked for the reason to delivery boy he said to contact zomato for this as it is not misplaced in his bag.
Upon contacting zomato chat person. Here comes the big fraud on refund. Customer service person got all the reasons and agreed for refund stating he will be refunding ***₹ for this. This *₹ but the original tax amount charged which would be atleast **₹ or more (exact tax split is not mentioned in app. Every thing is blind there)
Which does not match the tax charged on my undelivered product . When I questioned on this chat person replied they will not refund the tax amount for refunds. Then where does my money goes ? Why should I pay the tax for the product which is not actually delivered or sold ?
And the FB official page messenger says they have made the best possible refund on this . I dont know what is best on this to get back the AMOUNT FOR NOT DELIVERED PRODUCT .
Ppl beware of these kind of frauds in the name of refund. We may not be noticing this but they include all hiden charges .
The actual product was ***₹ and tax+packing + delivery it came around ***₹.
