I have ordered lunch (Order Number **********) from a famous restaurant in Hyderabad at **.** pm on **th March **** Order was accepted by the restaurant seconds after placing it. It has an offer "on time or free" so the delivery time for that order is ** minutes, that means I should get the order by *:** pm or the Order is free. Instead this happened.
In the app my order was cancelled at **:**pm and then
I got a call from zomato number (+************) at **:**pm it's not the delivery guy. It's a feedback call. I wanted to call the restaurant by seeing Rejected status. But I started a chat with zomato regarding it. They said it was a glitch. I was ordering it for my colleagues it was treat from side. They all waited for the order to come. But ** mins later my order got cancelled. And I had to order again . So they all waiting again. I'm writing this complaint while waiting for my next order. This second order is also showing ** mins to deliver from past ** mins.
My question is why do they give false promises If they are not capable of doing it.
And also how many people are facing this same
There is no such clause in the offer terms as they can reject the order any minute after the accept the order in the offer terms.
