Hi Sir,
I purchased New Delhi to Bali round trip (**st July to **th July) from cleartrip in February under their Freedom fare scheme which states that if I cancel my ticket they would refund the full amount within * days. But As you know this Pandemic started and I decided to cancel my ticket but before cancelling I decided to update my account so that my refund can come to me. I paid the amount from my ICICI Bank which was closed by me due to insufficient Balance. I dropped a mail to clear trip on April ** clearly stating that I want to change the Bank Account details for the refund(Tickets were yet not cancelled as I was waiting for a revert from Cleartrip If this was possible or not) After discussion with one of the support where he clearly mentioned that this can be done and I can cancel my ticket some airline charges would be deducted and I will get the refund after cancellation and the new account details would be updated I have a attached a file below which shows the mail conversation among cleartrip and me. Once the support person cleared my doubt I cancelled my ticket in the April Month and started waiting for the refund . Its been * Months now I haven't received anything Infact even Account details is not updated yet. This lockdown started and Airlines started to cancel the tickets their self(Note:I cancelled my ticket even before Airline cancelled my ticket) From April month I have been dropping a mail to cleartrip to know about my Refund status. I have dropped around *** mails approx but no reply came from their end. *-* call were received during these * months from their end but they were not providing any solution and were even unaware about the case fully. A week before they shared a mail that ***** INR would be refunded to me which came to me as a shock as I paid ***** and deducting INR ***** is unfair. and then I get a mail that even that refund has been sent to the account which is already closed .
and now I have to wait for another how many months I don't know
Thus I would request you to kindly comein between now and let me know what should I do Further.
I would like to inform you that I would like to get full amount refund on my updated account. Also sharing the mail details below
