Saif filed complaint against Urban Company on Jun 20, 2020
I ordered a chimney cleaning from urban company (urban clap) and the professional arrived and did it. Two days later my motor shorted and burnt and became damaged. It will cost Rs **** to repair. I have already paid Rs **** plus Rs ***. The professional says the shorting of the motor is incidental whereas the chimney was working in perfect condition before the cleaning and shorted two days after cleaning. He says he has nothing to do with it. He asked me to purchase a spare part for Rs *** and said it was of no use. Urban company has a ** day guarantee and they refused to send a follow up person and asked me to make a brand new booking which they are now saying I have to pay for. It has been three days and every time the customer service professional makes some new promises which are denied in the following call.
