- Rude and uncivilized behaviour of Air India ground staff ^Open

On ** August ****, I was booked on air india flight no. AI *** with booking reference J***F and e-ticket number ************* from Ranchi to Delhi. The ETD was **** h and I had checked in along with another passenger traveling by the same flight well in advance and proceeded to the smoking room. At **** h we left for the boarding gate , while enroute to the boarding gate(walking time of no more than * minutes) I got a call from AI staffer that please reach the boarding gate as many announcements had been made for us which incidentally can't be heard in the smoking room. On reaching the gate out of thetwo ladies responsible for boarding one became so aggressive and started shouting. She started using words like SHAMELESS PASSENGERS and NO SENSE OF RESPONSIBILITY, inspite of the fact there were clear cut almost ten minutes to spare before the boarding stops ie ** mins before ETD. Since I had a connecting flight to Jaipur otherwise I would have taken this mannerless woman and her absolutely uncouth behaviour to a logical end there and then. I have been trying to contact AI customer care but no one answers. I tried contacting them since **Sep ** onwards and finally I have decided to use your platform to highlight such a unprofessional conduct on part of an employee of that stature who was probably of lesser age than the number of years I have been a unflinching flyer with AI. I hope this errant person is taken to task nicely and be an example for others too. I must add the other lady at the boarding desk was trying to soothe her but probably being junior to her could not do much and in hushef tone whispered to me SIR PLEASE DON'T MIND.
