- Refund not Given Closed
I booked my ticket on this website from Srinagar to Lucknow at Go Ibibo on *nd July ****. It was not booked and an amount of Rs *****/- was deducted from my bank account. Initially I was told that I would receive the refund in * days. After * days I again called up and I was told that the TAT is *-** days. I kept on calling in between for a polite reminder and everytime I was told that I would receive my money within the stipulated time. After ** working days ie on **th July I did not receive my money and again called up. This time they said that it would take another *-** days. I asked them that I need to complain at this lackluster attitude to the higher management. They refused to provide me any number or e mail id. In turn they said I would receive a call back. I received a call back and the person said he would call me the next day. I did not receive any call next day, when I called back and asked for that person I was told he is not on his desk and I would receive a call back. This time I received a call back from some other executive. I lost my patience but he kept on telling me that I would receive the money in next *-** working days. I searched the internet and found a number of a person named Shivam Bhandari, he said that he will personally ensure that I get my money back in * days. I waited and on **nd July I received an e- mail that they have processed the money in my account with a transaction id. Also I got a call from Mr. Bhandari. Today is **th and I have not received my money yet. I called my bank and they said no payment has been initiated. So I called up at the toll free number and asked the agent to connect me to Mr Shivam Bhandari. He refused to do so I asked his e-mail id and he gave me a common id for filing complaint. He said that Shivam Bhandari would call me back. Now, I have been harassed not only financially but also mentally. I had to pay my EMIs which could have got stuck due to their callous attitude. I had to arrange the money from somewhere else. I am an army officer posted in forward area. The connectivity is very low here and I can not travel often. It is a matter of concern that these oragnisations can harass anyone just because we can not do anything against them. I am seriously disgusted with their attitude and I need advice as to what should I do to teach them a lesson so that they dont dare to do such a thing with anyone else. I am attaching a copy of the mail for reference.
