On my recent trip with Zoomcar, I encountered an issue with the FASTag in the car, which was not working, resulting in toll charges that I had to pay in cash. It was mentioned that FASTag payments during a trip should be borne by the guests. However, I must clarify that I was informed otherwise before the trip.
Prior to the trip, I received a message stating that FASTag is available in the car. Based on this communication, I did not anticipate any problems related to toll payments. Unfortunately, upon encountering the malfunctioning FASTag during the trip, I tried reaching out to the Host via the two-way chat feature in the Zoomcar application to settle the matter. However, there was no response from the Host, leaving me in a difficult situation.
In addition to the FASTag issue, I also faced unexpected mechanical and tire damages during the trip. I immediately contacted Zoomcar's customer care and had a call with one of your representatives. During the call, the representative assured me that Zoomcar would take full responsibility for the damages incurred and promised to reimburse the expenses for the mechanic and tire replacements.
