- Non receipt of refund amount from Easemytrip Open

Dear Sir/Madam,
I wish to draw your kind attention towards the fraud on non-refund of Rs ****/- by Easemytrip towards booking of ticket with ID- EMT********, PNR **D**D which was booked on December **, **** for my relative Smt. Meenalochani Gurumurthy for travel from Jodhpur to Bengaluru on January *, ****. The ticket pertained to Vistara Airlines under Economy Flexi Plan which has zero cancellation policy if cancelled before ** hours of journey. However on account of personal reasons/increase in COVID cases, the ticket was cancelled on December **,**** i e. * days before the travel date, directly with Vistara Airlines who forwarded a confirmation mail for full refund on December **,****. In view of the same, refund was sought from Easemytrip on the very same day.
However even after repeated requests and reminders for almost * weeks, Easemytrip is delaying the refund stating they are yet to receive refund from Vistara Airlines.
My question is why the delay is from Easemytrip when I had booked tickets from them and cancelled through Vistara. Why are they waiting for Vistara to refund but in this case Vistara already confirmed transferring refunds on December **, **** itself.
I had cancelled my ticket as per the policy of Easemytrip which clearly states full refund if ticket cancelled ** hours before journey date. Why Easemytrip is waiting for receipt of refund from Vistara Airlines. I request your agency to immediately expedite this issue with Easemytrip for early refund and compensation for the mental harassment on account of the consistent followups.
