I paid Rs. **** to youbroadband as security deposit for high-speed dual-band wireless modem cum router on *th june on their website. After the payment I contacted them for sending the router and getting it installed. They informed that it will take upto ** days. So far they have not sent the router for installation. I have made multiple calls to their customer support and also written to their nodal and appellate email ids. All of it looks like a fake scam because no one is interested in resolving the problem.
All that I keep hearing every single day is that they have escalated the issue and their technical team will get in touch (sometimes soon, sometimes today, etc.). But I never get any call back on resolution. I am still waiting for the router to be installed.
Additionally their website did not generate a deposit receipt. All I have is a transaction number and they keep saying that they have the details in their system so a receipt wont be required.
Till date, I have made many long and frustrating calls. I feel cheated by paying an advance amount without the device and they don't seem to care about a customer's mental agony.
This is resulting to not only financial loss but also mental agony.
