Subject: Urgent Complaint Regarding Incorrect Invoice Date and Warranty Start for Hero Destiny Prime - Pune Om Namah Shivaya Dealership
Dear Hero Company Customer Service,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention a significant discrepancy in the documentation related to my recent purchase of a Hero Destiny Prime from the Om Namah Shivaya dealership in Pune.
I purchased the vehicle on October **, and upon visiting the service showroom in Hero Foods, I discovered that my second service window was open, while my first service window had already expired. When I inquired, I was informed that the vehicle's invoice date, according to Hero Company records, is August **.
This inconsistency is concerning as it places my vehicle's warranty coverage at risk. I would like to emphasize that the invoice provided to me at the time of purchase bears the date of October **, which aligns with the actual transaction date. Furthermore, the invoice was issued in the name of Sonali, and I have since rectified this with the service provider, confirming that the vehicle is registered under my name.
I kindly request your immediate attention to correct the date in your systems to reflect the accurate purchase date of October **. This adjustment is crucial to ensure that all warranties over the engine, battery, and the entire vehicle start from the correct date, preserving the integrity of the warranty coverage.
Upon discussing the matter with the dealership, I was informed that there is no issue with the dates. However, I am inclined to believe that the dealership may have manipulated the invoicing process, possibly to meet certain targets or for other undisclosed reasons. My suspicion arises from the fact that the invoice was initially issued in the name of Sonali, and only through subsequent correction was it updated to reflect my name.
I request that you thoroughly investigate this matter to ensure the integrity of your invoicing system and to prevent such discrepancies in the future. If the dealership is engaging in practices that involve pre-dating invoices, it not only jeopardizes the accuracy of customer records but also raises ethical concerns.
