Hi,
Return flight ticket booked from New Delhi to London for travel dates *th Jan'** and return on **nd Mar'** for Virgin Atlantic flight for * passengers.
Spoke with cleartrip agents between **th March to **th March at least ** times regarding reschedule and cancellation of tickets (**nd March Ticket) from London to New Delhi.
Regarding cancellation process on one of the call on **th March it was communicated to me there is refund amount of approx * lakh out of which **k would be ducted as cancellation charges and **k would be refunded back.
I was looking for reschedule options. I called up for reschedule of flight to *nd Nov'** they mentioned that rescheduling charges are approx **k. Therefore, didn't opt for the same due to higher fare difference and opted for cancellation.
While doing cancellation of tickets agent mentioned to me that they cant commit the exact refund amount however whatever amount they would receive from airline they will refund me back.
Later in the day they just sent an email confirming there is "*" amount refund.
When I spoke with customer care again they mentioned that "*" is also amount. As per them they have not received any amount so there is no refund.
This is mental harassments to the customer - if they would have mentioned to me that there is possibility of * refund amount I might have opted for reschedule or might have travelled. I opted for cancellation that I would receive some amount and which has resulted in this complaint. I spent hours speaking to cleartrip and they just not accepting there mistake. None of the agent updated me that there would be no amount for cancellation. They just mentioned we are not sure about the cancellation amount as this is specialized trip so whatever amount we will receive from airline we will refund you back.
