Zomato has cheated us (the customer) and then slandered Romeo's pizza (their client) by blaming them for a fault of their own. On many occasions have shown clear disrespect and utter disregard for the rights of the consumer. They first deny us proper service then blame it on the restaurants usually. For the uninitiated, the restaurant ends up losing business and gets bad reviews for reason leaving them confused. They then mislead the customers who raise complaints by tweaking the times on their chat (e.g.: making us wait **-** minutes for every response, while the chat shows that it's only been *-* mins).
The fact that all their executives are so busy attending customers at all points in the day is proof enough of the shoddy services by Zomato. Only a couple months ago I mailed Zomato about their pathetic delivery services and they promised better service going forward. But even then I and everyone know has had to sit chatting with their executives for hours after each and every order.
This time, they did not even send an executive to get an order delivered. Then after two hours of haggling blamed the restaurant saying that they have their own delivery boys (which is not true). Even later, they blamed my mother saying she should have known this fact. As though her job wasn't done by order, entering contact details and paying up. Now, the customer must do the job of the middleman.
Needless to say, they have not compensated us in any form for our time, the harassment, or the innumerable calls we had to place. Their customer care executive was rude (attaching screenshots again), and they shrugged off ownership of their fault to an entirely innocent, sweet manager of Romeo's Pizza, who took it upon himself to help my mother out.
