I had made a hotel booking via OYO Rooms (Booking Id. CM*Q****) at M.G Road in Kolkata and paid a total amount of rs *** but when I reached the hotel property I didn't like the area and locality, the hotel seems to be in a very inside area which made me uncomfortable and fear of danger arose in my mind. So I canceled the booking via the OYO application and they didn't refund me the amount. When I contacted customer care they said it's not in their policy to refund the amount prior to the check-in time which is * am but I had arrived in Kolkata around * pm on the evening of the booking date. So how could I cancel the booking by * am when I was not there at the place. And I had booked the hotel by seeing the pictures of the room and hotel they provided in the OYO application but when I reached there it was nothing like how they showed in the picture and now they refuse to give me the refund. So, kindly please help me regarding and help me to get the full refund.
