Sanjay Singh filed complaint against Amazon India on Nov 12, 2018
Dear Consumer Court,
This is regarding the Order no ***-*******-******* for Braun Food processor which was raised on **th Aug **** costing INR **,***. The order was delivered on **th Aug **** to us, the processor was working fine till March ****. As the product was under warranty we had called the Amazon call centre and were informed that the vendor who had delivered the order was "Fashion Bar" and the call centre person shared the contact details of the vendor and asked us to call the vendor for servicing the same.
We tried contacting the vendor and he was non responsive in nature post which we again called the Amazon service centre and raised the issue and also wrote a review against the product vendor on the Amazon protal on **st April about the bad response of the vendor.
We were again asked to contact him and we tried multiple times and then the person agreed to do the service of the processor. We handed our processor to the contact person whose name was "Munnawar" from Fashion Bar in the month of Jun **. He mentioned that the service will take time as the motor was damaged and will take around *-* weeks of time to get it replaced. He also assured that if the machine is not repaired then he will work on getting a replacement for us.
Post * weeks when we tried following up with him in the month of Jul **, he said that it will taken another *-* weeks, then post follow-up in Aug ** he mentioned that he has repaired the machine and will courrier and asked to share our address on **th of Aug **. When we asked for the courier details, he started giving excuses that the vehicle has met accident and by now we had realised that he is making fool of us. We then got a strong conversation done and asked his shop details and went and took our machine in last week of September ** which was still unrepaired and in fact in a more pathetic condition.
We are very surprised to know that Amazon India has tie ups with such vendor who are out to fool their customers. We have all the whatsapp conversation with this vendor and also the audio recordings which will let you know that how they have harassed us and finally lead with no result.
We contacted Amazon post this and they asked us to drop an email on their Customer support id cs--reply@amazon.in. We dropped an email on *-Oct-**** with all the details which we have mentioned in this chat and they responded on *th Oct **** that if the seller is not responding in * days then they will initiate refund under A to Z guarantee from Amazon.
Post followup now Amazon is refusing to taken any action on this which is more frustrating and cheating of all time.
We would like to take a strict action on Amazon India and get our processor replaced as its an issue of trust and Amazon's integrity and we as a customer have suffered in this whole process. We have also attached the email which we had sent to Amazon & email from Amazon mentioning that they will refund.
