I booked a Chennai to Detroit flight ticket through Cleartrip on **rd March around *.** pm. Unfortunately I got a mail from college which I have to join stating that I can enter USA only after April **th. So I went into Cleartrip app checked all details. They have mentioned only Rs.*** as cancellation charge in the ticket. Also I read in google any international trip booked and cancelled with ** hrs is ***% refundable.
So I cancelled through their app by around *.** pm the same evening. But to my surprise they sent a mail stating zero refund processed. Since then I am trying to talk and get my refund they have been putting blame on airline and airline when tweeted replied they have nothing to do with this and Cleartrip is responsible for refund.
Many thanks for your proactive approach and prompt action. This has accelerated and helped in resolving my issue.
