This is regarding TRIP ID: ************ and PNR: V*EI*N, indigo connecting flight from PUNE to BLR.
I booked this ticket yesterday (** May ****) at **:** PM for *th June ****. at **:** from DEL to **:** in Bangalore. With this I also opted for ClearChoice PLus. The amount I paid for the trip was Rs. **** (Rs ****- Flight Fare + Rs *** - ClearChoice Plus Insurance Policy).
After the booking, I started to see the options which i may take if I need to reschedule flight. So when I started exploring, the *th June option got chosen. The flight fare being lesser than the my paid amount, it got confirmed automatically. I did not see any amount on the payment page, not even zero. So I was unable to see this final price and with some mis click it got booked automatically at the end.
So if you note, it happened so soon that the rescheduled flight time is just * minutes later of the booking which is **:** PM for the *th June flight. To correct this, I immediately called cleartrip for support. It is to be noted that I called immediately within a minute of this incident. I asked for support if this can be reversed or provide some solution but as always they suggested nothing. They said you can talk to the airline and see for yourself. So, did not assist me at all.
After back to back call with the airline in the night, they said they can reverse the rescheduling amount of Rs ****.
So for the *th June flight fare was Rs **** (Rs **** - Flight fare and Rs ***- CLearChoice Insurance). So the new flight was cheaper from Airline end with a difference of Rs. ****. So as per their calculation they added Rs **** (the initial amount) + **** (cheaper fare) = Rs *****. Out of this rescheduling fees of Rs **** was deducted (*****-****) leaving the amount to Rs **** in which flight was booked.
So, I don't understand what cleartrip paid in this case. Nevertheless, I got this Rs **** amount back. Rs **** was my money only.
Cleartrip first ticket bill is **** and second is ****, so they did not obviously reimburse me this amount of ****. Also I do not understand why Rs *** are included in both the bills? Insurance was purchased once only. Why there is insurance charge of Rs *** extra in the rescheduled flight. And if it is there in the second flight so they should provide a option to reschedule this flight.
So this Rs **** and Rs **** that i got back with my efforts. Rs **** were reimbursed to cleartrip and they are sending me message to give only Rs **** after deductions. Deductions on what grounds is not mentioned. And it was my efforts that i got the refund, why do you take the deductions?
So these were few of my concerns.
With this I want to say that I just wanted my original booking back from the starting and did not want any money back ,which cleartrip could have helped me to retrieve. You deal with it on daily basis and could have provided some solution, coordinate with the airline or whatever. Cleartrip agents simply raised their hands and did not do anything and I only had to deal with it and now taking deductions of almost Rs ****.
I want to say that if these Rs **** is returned back whatever costed in rescheduling is returned back to cleartrip. So, My insurance is technically not claimed I asked for a rescheduling option again so that I can book my original booking. The price was same to the initial price i paid but after the booking and cutting those **** from my account, my balamce with airline got less and even if the airline was giving me waiver for *nd rescheduling of the flight, for fare difference it was asking Rs****. Technically, this anount cleartrip should have paid or gave me as it did not have to pay anything for the first rescheduling. Also, its a complaint regarding indigo, i habe informed them immediately but they did not retrieve my booking. To go back to the original booking, they were charging first actually two rescheduling charges and then agreed to waive off second charge and just pay off the fare difference. But my point is that this was not two times rescheduling m, it should have been taken cade of a mistake and give me my original booking back. But they refunded first rescheduling amount but did not change my final trip to the original.
I have already paid Rs ***** and being asked more and more. It was a mistake and was reported instantly and so could be corrected or atleast tried to be corrected The second rescheduling was done, I am just asking for my original booking but not being helped. This is very unprofessional and unethical.
Cleartrip took so long to answer and then i escalated the issue to cleartrip by putting a email again at escalations @* PM but still they have not replied ehich is leading to increase in my original ticket amount. Prices for that ticket have increased which were same till yesterday morning. I have no fault in this and they are giving late responses.
Even if now i somehow request airline to cancel and give me a full refund, it will go to cleartrip and they eill again do hefty deductions and give me meagre amount. I have no solution. Kindly hep me.
The concern is being delayed and delayed which will lead to surge pricing of my original flight. I have raised the issue many times on call and as wel as i put up the email at wecare@cleartrip.com last night after I did not get any help on call. I can share call logs and everything, i immediately reported the incident.
