- Faulty laptop recieved Closed
Hello, I have recently purchased a laptop (HP** X*** DW****TU **Gi* *GBN ***SSD). I purchased it from Croma store on ****-**-** as I needed it for work purposes and within ** days of purchasing that laptop, I faced some serious issues and it stopped working. I reported the issue to both HP and croma once I was back in the town. I was asked to troubleshoot, and I did the same, still it is not working. I have tried running the HP recovery tool, but the same issue persists. I had to buy an extra accessory (pen drive) immediately for this troubleshooting at my own expense, which did frustrate me a lot. However, since I needed it to work immediately for my office purpose I didn't have any other option. After that too, the issue was there and the SSD had been changed for it too, new windows installed, but still giving the same error (blue screen error). The guy from HP company did visit and did all the troubleshooting like checking every part such as SSD, RAM & windows as well as tried running the HP recovery tool again but he was also unable to remediate along with this I have marked an email to hp and croma on */**/****. Then on */**/**** I got a call from Croma the agent advised me to submit the laptop in order to get it replaced on Monday. On */**/**** which was Monday I submitted the laptop but now I have received a update through whatsapp that HP has refused to replace the faulty laptop and they will only repair it.
