Amazon India - Different phone received

I have ordered one plus * Pro but there was a different used phone in the box. When I immediately called amazon they told me to wait for * days but they took * days to revert and said they can't do anything. Seriously? My **k is at stake here and they are saying that they can't help. I provided them with the photos as well. Is this the way they are conducting business by scamming their customer. Please help.
