I booked a ticket from New Delhi to Columbus (USA) using EaseMyTrip (Ticket no.=*************; PNR=*W*QER). They charged money (~**,*** Rs) for * flights: an Air India flight from Delhi to San Francisco and then a United Airlines flight from San Francisco to Columbus. However, when I reached San Francisco airport, United airlines staff informed me that no ticket had been booked under my name for San Francisco to Columbus flight and the PNR mentioned on the EaseMyTrip ticket was invalid. I had to again purchase a *** USD ticket (~**,*** Rs) along with INR/USD transaction fee in order to board the United Airlines flight that EaseMyTrip was supposed to already book with the payment that I had provided to EaseMyTrip. Please provide me reimbursement for the United Airlines flight for which I have paid twice (once to EaseMyTrip and then again to United Airlines at a much higher cost because EaseMyTrip committed fraud).
I have contacted EaseMyTrip multiple times but they have not given me any refund. They don't understand the severity of how much of a financial and emotional struggle it is for me to first pay Rs **,*** for an India to Columbus flight, then be detained at the USA airport because EaseMyTrip didn't give me correct tickets, then answer questions and convince the airport authorities that I'm not a criminal/fraudulent person with fake tickets, and then again have to repurchase the same ticket for more than Rs **,*** at the USA airport to be able to reach my university.
First EaseMyTrip told me to give them written confirmation that I was not allowed to board the flight, so I immediately called United Airlines and they quickly gave me the confirmation number: GFFSXF that confirms that I was not allowed to board SFO to Columbus flight with the ticket I purchased from EaseMyTrip.
But even after giving them this confirmation from United Airlines, EaseMyTrip didn't provide me any refund and is constantly ignoring me for many weeks by saying that they have already contacted United Airlines so I should wait for their reply. But I know that United Airlines is available **X* by phone and EaseMyTrip has never called them to resolve the issue.
