We booked * rooms via Make My trip for Regenta resorts in Pushkar wherein we got confirmation of the booking too and after nearly * days we received a call from the resort that the rooms are full and they don't have space for us as by mistake they kept the room booking on online. We went through rounds and rounds of calls with MMT wherein Apurva, a supervisor of their customer delight team finally told us that they would refund the entire amount of our booking and we can select "Ananta spa resorts" - any difference will be borne by MMT. When finally we booked Ananta, post taking the amount, they mentioned on their portal that the pool was under renovation and would not be available. By now they had taken nearly **k and we were forced to take a hotel which doesn't even have basic facilities - The staff was non-cooperative and led to a lot of mental harassment of my husband. He had to repeat the incident on every call and hear a rejection from each caller stating we can't help since it is a policy! My point is first why did they wake up after * days that the booking couldn't be done. Later why did they suggest a resort which was not meeting our requirements? This has led to a lot of tension and investment of time and effort. We never thought we would experience such a horrible incident from MakeMyTrip. We are still waiting for a call from MMT to help refund the **k back!
