Below are the detailed reasons for my complaint:
Inability to Provide a Separate Breakdown for My *-Year-Old Child: Despite multiple requests, MMT failed to provide a detailed breakdown of charges for my *-year-old child. Official communication from the hotel confirms that a *-year-old is not charged for the hotel stay, tour guide, or entry tickets. However, MMT charged us an additional **% for the child.
Incorrect Booking for Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and Roman Forum Tour: We specifically requested a morning session with a skip-the-line option and a licensed guided tour for these sites. Despite completing the payment in April and repeatedly requesting the vouchers, MMT only sent the voucher one day before the trip, scheduling the Colosseum visit for * PM with no guide provided. Instead, only an audio guide was offered, which is free of charge. These sites close at * PM, making it impossible to visit all three as planned. Additionally, MMT has not refunded the money for the cancelled guided tour.
Unprofessional and Casual Attitude Towards Our Trip:
MMT initially attempted to book tickets to the wrong destination until we identified the error.
We were informed that our train from Venice to Milan was scheduled for *:** AM on **/**/**, arriving in Milan at *:** AM. Based on this information, we booked further tickets from Milan to Varenna for **:** AM. However, upon reaching the station, we discovered that our train was actually at *:** AM, arriving in Milan at **:** AM. This caused significant stress as we had to rush to the station early in the morning with a baby and rebook our tickets from Milan to Varenna at **:** PM, incurring an extra cost of ** Euros.
Given these issues, I request the following refunds and compensation:
The cost of the guided tour for the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and Roman Forum.
The additional charge for my *-year-old child.
The extra expense incurred for the rebooking of train tickets from Milan to Varenna.
Compensation for the stress and inconvenience caused by these errors and the unprofessional handling of our itinerary.
Despite completing the payment and confirming the itinerary in April, this experience has been extremely disappointing and has caused considerable inconvenience and additional expenses. I feel cheated and demand appropriate compensation for the poor service provided by MMT.
