Colive Bangalore
- Colive Not Issuing Refund Open
Lokesh Srinivasan filed this complaint against Colive Bangalore on Dec 21, 2020
I recently received a notice from CoLive claiming that I have been served a legal notice for outstanding dues and that the amount has exceeded the Deposit, and that I would have to pay the additional amount and also liable for an Rs.**,*** fine because of the legal notice.
I have not lived in the CoLive premises since **st March ****. But I have not skipped a single month's rent till the month I had vacated. I even paid for the whole month on the Month of October even though the checkout was on **th. I travelled from Arcot to Bangalore on the **th and vacated the premises and returned on the same day. I have toll charges as a proof for them as well.
The base rent was INR ****. There was a usual amount of INR *** for convenience and INR *** for maintenance. Along with this there was electricity bill every month around INR *** which I paid out of courtesy. But soon they started raising it beyond INR **** and I had to contact customer care and explain that this amount is absurd for someone who is not even using the electricity. Hence they gave a solution to just pay the Rent of INR **** and an additional INR *** to cover maintenance. I paid the INR **** every month after that conversation. The accepted that the fact that I do not have to pay electricity bill for a place am not staying in.
I have attached moths where the receipt of INR **** is recorded for several months and not additional amount was due. These receipts are generated from CoLive themselves. If I was not paying my dues properly, why are there no mentions of “past due” in subsequent months.
I have Rent Invoices and Rent Receipt of every month and can show that there was no amount that was marked as “past due” or “arrear”. Also the latest invoices show a different basic rent from my rent that is on my ag
Their current claim is that I have not paid parts of the rent and electricity bills. Also they have added a charge of INR **** for no reason. There was nothing that needed to be fixed in the room.
Now this sudden request for additional amount that is beyond my deposit amount and threatening to charge an additional INR **,*** has really caused me to panic.
