On *st February I booked I** sports model by paying Rs **,***. As I was buying a car I had to search the best car for my requirements. Meanwhile, i told them that IMT (Intelligent Manual Transmission) model to be test driven. I took the test drive and then told them to proceed accordingly but no final decision as the bank loan amount was not disbursed to them and no downpayment from my side. Which finally means that I was in a dilemma whether to take the Delivery or not due to financial problems. Later, on due to Covid ** and some deep financial problems from my end I told them that I won't be able to take the delivery of the car. Now, they are refusing to pay me the booking amount of Rs **,*** stating that retail invoice has been made. But, I won't be able to buy the car due to my financial problems. As per cancellation Rs **** can be charged. I am ready for the same and issue the balance amount. I am giving **hrs after this issue comes to their knowledge. Or else case will be forwarded to Consumer Forum for customer harassment. With Regards Advocate Suman Patra.
