My name is Rani P N

I purchased an vehicle( Scooter- Hero Photon) * years ago in December ****, for Rs. *,**,***/- from -Parx Hero Electric Bikes and Batteries, Edappally Pukkattupady Road, Judgemukku, Ernakulam -******, Kerala.
Purchased vehicle name:-Hero Electric- Photon/LP Lithium
The dealer had informed me that the price of the battery was Rs.**,***/- and the warranty period is * years and the battery life is * years.
The charger of the Scooter had to be replaced last year in ****. Then also the service was very poor and they simply gave the number of a person who checks the battery and i had to go on calling him to attend to my vehicle. And after many days he informed me that the charger has to be replaced.
And now, my Scooter suddenly went off while i was riding it * weeks ago and and I took the Scooter to the showroom I already mentioned. The technician informed me that there is no problem. There was no charge in the scooter, he informed.
Last week i e on **/**/****,while I was riding it during night time at ** o clock, on my way back to home from town , the Scooter suddenly went off and after many difficulties I got to park the scooter on the road side and I faced many difficulties reaching home since there was no Autoriksha at that hour of the night in that place. The next day I took Scooter to the Showroom, but there was no technician there to check the problem. After three days they informed me that the battery has to be replaced and the new battery will cost Rs.**,***/-

At the time of purchase the price of the battery was only Rs. **,***/-

In * years the price of the battery hiked upto more than three times of the price.

The Customer Service of the dealer was a problem for us. They never had enough technicians there and whenever my Scooter got a problem they had taken many days to check and repair it.
Now the cost of the battery.
For the battery, half the price of the Scooter itself.
I purchased the electric scooter just because it will be cost effective as well as green mode of transportation.
Now the Scooter and its maintenance costs me more than a normal petrol vehicle costs.
The arrogance of the showroom customer service people are to be mentioned. They were never worried about the performance of the vehicle they sold for this high price and kept cool when we complained about it. They did not make a single movement to make my problem solved. And when we approached the showroom about it, the showroom manager showed his temper against us and sneered at us .They showed no interest in suggesting an alternative solution for this.
I live alone in Ernakulam for the last ** years and a vehicle is essential in my life. Since there no bus service from my place to the office ( Cochin University of Science & Technology), i have to hire an autoriksha everyday which costs me Rs.***/-.
I request to whomsoever concerned to do the neeedful about this .
Otherwise people like us cannot even think of buying an electric Scooter. People like me will not recommend an electric Scooter to anyone in their life
