Amazon India - Amazon India — amazon sale is a ripoff. its a sham!!! don't fall for it

Considering a sale, I bought a laptop and Phone with Amazon specifically checking the return and replacement policy. It was a Samsung on pro* I ordered on Amazon. Both arrived and the phone was not working properly, it was hanging from the start, Wifi was not connecting and when someone would call the number, They could hear the ringing but the phone wouldn't ring.

So I requested to replace or return the phone. Amazon wont event register my complaint so I had to call the customer service team. The lady who answered was like a broken record saying do a blanco test but we cant return the item. Saying this multiple times. so I asked for a manager who ended up being another broken record. again repeating the same nonsense. My question is, why was this not mentioned while buying the Items. Apparently, when you order something during sale, It can not be returned.

The people who spoke to me were ridiculously nonchalant in the way they were speaking. Like do whatever you want we dont care enough to help you.

This was a pathetic experience and I will never buy anything from Amazon ever ever ever again.
