I am a trusted prime customer of Amazon from past * years. I am in India and my account is registered with "amazon.in" domain. Twenty days back, my account got redirected to US domain "amazon.com" automatically and while I spoke to the customer service then, they informed that it got stuck in their system and hence they have released my account back to its original Indian domain. Now, day before yesterday, my HDFC account got charged with $** which is Rs. **** for amazon.com prime membership and at the same time I was again charged with rs *** for amazon.in prime membership. I immediately contacted amazon.com representative to refund $** (Rs. ****) which was wrongly charged and deregister my account/ all the details from the US associated domain(amazon.com). He assured me that he would do all of it and deactivate my all information within ** hours. I do not know what happened the next day, my entire account details got deleted both from India and US domain and my entire data was lost. I got logged out of my account from the mobile app, web app and the firestick at the same time. There were few orders in list of India account, there was a prime membership purchased as well for amazon.in, nothing is found now. I immediately contacted India executives to ask them what has happened with my India account, where are my orders, my past purchases, my money.. they have no answer. They said - we cannot do anything about it, apologies for the inconvenience!
Now, I don't understand, what the customer should do or whom to go to seek help. The problem was originated from amazon's side due to their system malfunctioning. My account got directed to US domain where the representative comes and deletes the entire account info that gets affected to the Indian account and when I go to the Indian Amazon representatives- they say- very sorry for the inconvenience, won't happen again.
This is a sure-shot huge blunder by such a reputed e-commerce company and all they have to say to you is- they cant do anything for this problem. Where is my money? The past orders that were in list of my account, I want all of the refund at one go. Amazon is not ready to even refund my money that has been lost due to their mistake. I have email proofs of all the transactions that happened in past with amazon(with order ID's), regardless of my account got deleted and even the amazon would have the call recordings of every incident registered to them immediately.
I urge all of you to suggest me whatever is the way out . Where should I go? Whom should I ask help from? Please advice!
