I had booked 2 tickets for a trip from Chennai to Bagdogra almost a month in advance. I had to cancel tickets within 2-3 hours of booking due to unavoidable circumstances. The ticket status said refundable. But it turned out that the refund amount was only 45% (10,000 Rs) of the ticket price. In other words, Indigo had charged 55% of the ticket price , amounting to 12,000 rupees as cancelation fee !! Unbelievable exploitation of the common man, considering there is nearly 1 month time for them to rebook tickets and the cancelation happened within 24 hours of booking!
