- Airline not refunding after flight cancelled due to Covid Open

Hi, My Spouse had booked flight for my Mother Mrs from Orbitz portal on **th March **** Starting from Ahmedabad (India) to Boston(USA) via New Delhi and New York on *th April **** and Return from Boston(USA) - Ahemdabad(India) on **/**/**** via Newark and Bombay. The ticket was cancelled due to lockdown in India for COVID** and I was issued an airline credit to be used till December ****. With Covid** situation still very much in effect and I being an IT profession on Work Permit in USA till April **, **** - the situation is very unlikely of My Mother (Aged **+) to travel from India to USA. I have requested Orbitz for help seeking refund from Airline (AIR India) - and an email chain started on **th April from Orbitz - the Airline acknowledged the refund request and agreed to process the request as soon as normalcy is restored. Since then my wife have been chasing each month with full knowledge of the situation (replying same mail chain asking an update) - but till date after * months - I am still awaiting reply. When I call orbitz they say - they can't process refund and Air India asks to check with agent (Orbitz) without listening and doesn't reply to my mail. With no way out to this situation - I am requesting your interference to this matter and help me with refund on the ticket amount (USD ****.**).
