Abraham filed complaint against Lenskart on Dec 20, 2017
I had bought a rimless Vincent chase frame[Golden tortoise Rectangle VC E*****- C*] from Lenskart Showroom located at Koramangala, ** Feet Road, Bangalore on ** March ****. The frame came free since I bought lens worth Rs ****/- (before discount). I had to pay Rs ****/- after discount. Order # *******. The store manager told that the frame has * year warranty and the lens is scratch resistant. After * months of usage, the rivet bushing came out suddenly and further there are scratches on the lens too.
I contacted the store in charge on **th Dec **** and mentioned these problems. I asked them to replace/repair the frame rivet bushing since it's just * months of usage and within warranty. Instead of apologizing or giving me some consolation for the substandard product and service the store in charge had the audacity to blame me as an irresponsible user and not only this, he went a step further pestering me to get it repaired from a local shop or buy a new frame from the store. I was completely bewildered and dumbfounded by this attitude. I gave him a warning that I would complain about the substandard product that was being sold to customers. The person was in complete denial and was saying that I paid only for the lens and frame has come free and hence they cannot do anything. I at least wanted my frame to be repaired, which was completely denied, by the store in charge stating its not there headache. What is the use of a lens when the frame itself given to customer is substandard and saying that problem to frame within warranty period is not their headache. If this is the attitude of Lenskart to customers, how can we trust Lenskart
