Telecom Complaints
Telecom or telecommunication refers to the science and practice of transmitting information through electronic means. It is the most widely used mode of communications especially via Phones and the Internet. The various types of telecommunication methods include Computer networks, PSTN, Radio Networks, television networks etc. The total number of telecom companies as of 2019 in India are approximately 1183 million. The largest telecom companies in India include Vodafone, Airtel, Jio, BSNL etc. The most common telecom complaints by consumers include poor customer service, poor network coverage, slow internet, incorrect billing etc. So the questions arises as to how to file a complaint against telecom companies? Firstly we should try to resolve the complaint by calling on the customer care number. All the telecom companies have 24*7 working customer care number specially designed for the help of the consumers as they value their satisfaction. The customer care number of some of the leading telecom companies in India are :

If the company itself isn’t willing to resolve your complaint on its own, then there are other steps which can be taken. If the customer is not satisfied by the response provided by the call center team of the service provider then he/she should contact the Nodal Officer of the service provider and lodge his/her complaint. You can even file a complaint at http://dot.gov.in/public-grievances (Department of Telecommunication). This website is created by the Government of India to help resolve telecommunication complaints. Moreover, you can contact the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) and express your dissatisfaction against a telecom company. The TRAI’s customer care number is 011-2323 6308. The TRAI, however, does not look into individual complaints but will ask you to file a complaint through the Telecom Consumers Complaint Monitoring System (TCCMS) portal of TRAI (http://www.tccms.gov.in/). Moreover, there are many online portals/consumer forums such as Voxya which help in resolving telecom consumer complaints by sending legal notice to the concerned authority. We generally receive about 100s of telecom consumer complaints every month.
