I ordered a set of jeans from Urbano Fashion (Order ID: U******) for office use on **th April ****, with an expected delivery date of **th April ****.
On **th April, the package reached Bangalore, but I received a false update stating “delivery attempt failed as customer not available”. I did not receive any call or delivery attempt, which clearly indicates a fake delivery attempt entry by the courier partner.
Since then, as of *th May ****, the product has still not been delivered.
I have repeatedly contacted Urbano Fashion’s WhatsApp support, and every time I am given the same generic response:
“Your order will be delivered within ** hours.”
This has been repeated daily without any actual delivery, showing clear lack of accountability and misleading customer communication.
Due to this unacceptable delay, I requested order cancellation and refund on *th May ****. However, I received the following response:
“We are unable to cancel the order as the AWB has been generated. Please reject the delivery at the time of delivery.”
This response is completely unreasonable and unfair, as:
The company has already failed to deliver within the promised timeline
They are forcing me to wait indefinitely for a delivery attempt
Refund is being made dependent on a future uncertain event (delivery attempt)
This is a clear case of:
Deficiency in service
Unfair trade practice
Misleading updates (fake delivery attempt)
Relief Sought
I request the following actions:
Immediate cancellation of Order #U******
Full refund to original payment method without waiting for delivery attempt
Compensation for inconvenience caused due to delay and false delivery status
Strict action against the logistics partner for fake delivery attempt updates
