Make my trip - Unethical behaviour kept money on hold

I had a round trip international flight booking from Bengaluru to San Francisco on *th of May and back to Bengaluru on **th of May both ways on Japan Airlines, made this booking on MakeMyTrip. This was supposed to be a new route launch by Japan airlines. Due to Covid** issue Japan Airlines suspended the route launch and published online circular stating ***% refund regardless of booking terms(this was done even before lockdown *.* began).

I have tried to reach MakeMyTrip via calls, emails(cc'ing all the representatives who emailed me with automated message) ever since. There are times when I have tried to reach MakeMyTrip continuously for * hrs just to speak to representative. MakeMyTrip has diverted all international support calls to domestic department, they are totally ignorant of international trips. I have also communicated to MakeMyTrip on FB DM to bring this to their knowledge. Even after doing so much I only get automated response from MakeMyTrip or call from representative who knows nothing about refund process. For more than two months now straight everyday I have been doing the same. I could reach airline very easily and they were very welcoming on call they even assisted me with information I needed. Unfortunately as this booking was done on MakeMyTrip, I have to deal with MakeMyTrip to get back my money.

I have details of all the communication happened so far. MakeMyTrip is irresponsible and least bothered of customer issues. My money is struck with MakeMyTrip and I want to file a case against it. I also understand from mails that even after a month early notification MakeMyTrip communicated this to airline as no show after the trip date. Just emphasize again this route launch postpone was known before lockdown *. This news came in even before air travel was banned due to Covid**.
