Lt Col SB Mallick filed complaint against Tatasky on Sep 10, 2018
I had taken this connection in **** at kolkata after payment of the due initial charges. at that time, the offer from tatasky was ** X month free super value pack + ** Month free hd access fees.
after expiry of the free period of one month, the services were required to be automatically stopped.
but tatasky continued the services without my consent and kept on charging money from me.
I am an army personnel and come to kolkata for very short duration. when i tried to find out so as how come my recharge amount finished off so fast, i was surprised to learn that the high value super value pack alongwith full hd access fees was continuing on the above mentioned connection, but without my knowledge, permission or consent.
The contention of tatasky that on expiry of the free period, the services did continue as paid services, since the customer did not inform them regarding discontinuation of such services, is not acceptable because, at the onset, the customer, i.e. myself, at the first place have not at all given the consent for activation of such services. Now I had demanded for a refund that tatasky has refused.
