Dear Sir,
I own Sony TV model KDL-**EX***. The TV was in excellent condition -
no issues whatsoever. I have been seldomly using it when I come to
visit my parents in Noida. I stay in Bangalore as I am working there.
On my visit this time, I saw the TV was not switching on. On powering,
there would be a red light turn green and I would see black & white
dots on Display and the light on the bottom bar will turn red again
and blink * times. Mr. Amreek (Jaypee technician) visited my house on
wednesday and observed this TV symptom and said motherboard issue and
I will have to get the unit to Jaypee service center in Sector-*
Noida. I have attached the bill for the service visit.
My son and I took the TV to the shop today morning and they took the
TV for service and told me some labour charge would be around Rs
****/- plus parts change on the motherboard once the issue is figured
out.
Later that day, I get a call from the service technician that the
Display is broken. The guy had the audacity to tell me that I got it
broken when it came into the shop. Total lie. I have attached picture
of TV below. Also, the TV back is shown in the picture becasue the
service technician kept it like that and was removing the wall bracket
to give it back to me.
Please address this negligence on the service center part
appropriately. I hope to hear soon from you on the action taken and
what to expect from Sony.
