ACT FIBERNET - Service Interruption

I have prebooked an ACT service for a month. I was supposed to work from home today. Since morning, there has been an issue from ACT's end and there has been no resolution the entire day. I lost Rs ****/- for today. During various instances, I keep receiving calls every hour from ACT which is so annoying to recharge my internet, continue with the service, warning that connection will be discontinued if I dont recharge. Like other internet services, if you dont want to recharge any particular month, they let you skip that month. You can choose whenever you want to prepay and use services. But with ACT, if you dont want to use internet for a month, you are asked to pay a fee to stop service for sometime. How ridiculous is that? If your recharge is until the first of the month and you and up using two hours extra on the second of the month. You are charged based on the calculation for * hours. Despite all that I recharged for a month. Now no connection the entire day, from morning till night. I Called their customer service. Absolutely no apologies, no regret, no empathy. 'It will be resolved by *pm', was the answer. I asked him, ' if I extend even an hour of using your internet from the recharge date, you guys even charge me for that. Now the entire day frm morning till night, I did not have internet service. I also lost Rs **** from work as I couldn't work the entire day. What is the compensation for this? Am I going to be compensated for internet for another day?'. The reply was, 'No, we can't do that'. I asked him again and he had the audacity to say, 'How many ever times you ask, you will get the same reply, Is there anything else'. Absolutely disgusting customer service. I've been with Act for a long time. I've decided this will be my last month of using this ridiculous service. It is my hard earned money. Will not spend it on such unprofessional people and company.
