My Aquaguard Classic water purifier emitted a burning odor on **/**/**** and I registered a service complaint, CM-******-********, on **/**.****. The service engineer without checking informed that the PCB has got burnt and needs to be replaced, but the PCB for this model is no longer available with them since this is a very old model. I then escalated to the Eureka Forbes grievance cell. Since my unit is not covered under an AMC they asked me to pay for the service and parts, for which I agreed. On **/**/** the same service technician came to my house with the new PCB and informed me that he has to take the unit to the service center for replacing the PCB, for which I agreed and allowed him to take the unit with him. The next day, **/*/** the technician brings and connects the unit and shows that it is functioning. But, on **/**/**** the unit does not work and emits a beeping sound. When I checked the unit I noticed that the Purity sensor has been removed by the technician without my knowledge and consent. I searched on the internet and found that the unit will emit the beep noise and stop working if the purity sensor is not working. I then contacted the Customer service and again logged a ticket CM-******-******** mentioning that technician has damaged my unit. I again escalated through to the Grievance Cell. A service ticket was logged and yet there has been no technician visit till date to fix the issue. I am getting phone call from Eureka Forbes everyday mentioning that the unit is old and spare parts are not available. To which I have responded that the Company has the ownership for arranging parts which they have damaged and replace the same or give me a replacement unit. Since then there has been no action taken and I am living without a water purifier putting my life and my family's health at risk, due to consuming unfiltered water. Please note: I have paid Rs.**** for the service and PCB board replacement.
